How To Come Up With Project Ideas

Have you ever just wanted to make a project, but couldn't think of what to do?
Have you had some ideas, tried them out, and decided against it?
Well here are some tips to help you come up with ideas!

Movies
You can base projects on ideas from movies! For example, if the movies I chose were Bolt and The Incredibles, then I might make a platformer, where you are a superhero. See?

Another Project
Although it's not a great idea to copy someone's work, you can use people's ideas! But make sure you give credit, and that the original owner of the idea is alright with it being reused. So, for example, if you see a platformer about bringing back the colours, you could make a platformer about bringing back spring, or something like that.

Toys
Ooh, here's a good one. I used this strategy today, actually.
Let's say you've seen a toy on an advert - and you really like it! Maybe use the idea of the toy to make something? The toy I got my idea from was a Hatchimal, so I made a project about growing creatures from an egg and looking after them! Make sure you credit the toy you were inspired by, and be sure to check if it's okay to use the idea!

Games
A game is also another good thing to base a project on. You could make a Pong game, a Snap game, or even code your own Mario game! Make sure you give credit to the original game, though.

Artwork
Are you one of those people who LOVES to draw? Well, maybe you can make your drawings into a project, too! Take some of your drawings and put them into a project. You could make a PMV (Picture Music Video) with them all! Just make sure they belong to you, or are free to use.

I hoped this helped. If it didn't, I'm sure you'll find an idea somewhere, you never know, one might just pop out of nowhere!

Hmm…. Now that's an idea…! A pop game! Pop as many balloons as you can and try to beat the world record!

You see, ideas come from everywhere. You just need to look.
