Do the Scratch Team even consider the suggestions?

Many suggestions that have hundreds of replies and tons of support never get added. The only time I really even see the ST in the Suggestions forum is when they're closing duplicate or rejected topics.

So: do the ST even consider the suggestions given in the Suggestions forum?

Signatures are useless! Who even needs them anyways?

Do the Scratch Team even consider the suggestions?

Yes. But it's important to note that tons of support does not automatically mean the suggestion is good. There's a lot of things the Scratch Team has to consider when looking at suggestions, such as if the suggestion is practical, feasible, kid-friendly, and safe.

And even if a suggestion is accepted, it doesn't mean it will be implemented right away. For example: the developers are currently planning on making Scratch more easily accessible to those who have visual problems. This was a suggestion that was brought up two years ago, but it's only now that someone is able to work on it, and it might take another two years before the suggestion is implemented (assuming development stays on track). So that's about four years (or longer) right there. Obviously not all suggestions take four years - some might be shorter, some might be longer - but overall, definitely not a quick process.

Sadly, my forum signature was eaten by an evil kumquat.

Just because a suggestion has a lot of support doesn't mean it will be added.
