GIF ERROR: GIF turns out corrupted when I upload it!

So, I've been trying to upload a GIF to a scratch project, but when it uploads all of the costumes are distorted/messed up. Here is the GIF I uploaded:

So, is there any way to correctly upload it?

I've been experiencing the same problem too…

Not as of right now. I can't currently upload GIF's at all, it's most likely because of Hour of Code, and the traffic is making the site laggy. In that case, ti will be back to normal between Dec 11 - Dec 18. If it's not caused by that, then I'm not sure.

Hi, i've suceed to upload your thumbnail to my profile and it worked.
After you see Scratch says thumbnail changed press F5 in order to reload the icons view.

I'm not having trouble uploading it… when the gif actually gets uploaded all the costumes are messed up.

Hmm… That's quite odd. Was it a video, by chance, and not an actual GIF?

It was definitely a GIF, otherwise it wouldn't have actually uploaded.

Same, I have no clue on how that happen, it's kinda hard if you have a gif with more than 20 frames

I think(not sure) it is because it is probably compressed by adding transparence in frame parts that are not changing from a frame to the next. Transparency are not working well in profile thumbnails currently.

The image above is in profile of other account of mine.

I used http://resizeimage.net/ to resize 144x108(because too much frames), to reduce number of colors to 128(8 bits) and remove transparency.

Sometimes when I upload a GIF some frames get duplicated
