Keep the Srcatch 2.0 interface for Scratch 3.0

When I saw the interface for Scratch 3.0, I seemed to like Scratch 2.0 interface better. So, I was thinking that we could keep the 2.0 interface for the next version.

Yes but if you are suggesting to get rid of the 3.0 interface because it looks horrible then no.

It would be cool to see a Themes option, probably as a dropdown menu next to the File dropdown menu. When you click it, it would show a few themes like Scratch 1.0, Scratch 1.4, Scratch 2, command line, and so on. When you choose one, it would save your project and refresh the page, with the new theme enabled.

I would really like to be able to create custom CSS themes.

No support. Why get rid of all the work they've done now. Implemented CSS themes are not good either as it could open up vulnerabilities.

No support at all. Just add a themes option, allowing for smaller blocks and recoloring.

Except it's a valid point. 3.0 has entirely been built from the ground up, and getting rid of that makes no sense whatsoever from a development standpoint.

Anyways, I doubt it. Even when people complained that the block padding was way too large, Scratch just temporarily shrunk it by 10% and called it a week.

What vulnerabilities? You could block
url()
so nobody can load data from an external source.

Welcome to my signature. Some random thoughts and loose rules to follow:

  • Please STOP writing “support” or “no support” when responding to suggestions. Be constructive. Tell OP how they could improve the idea. If you like it, tell them why! You are achieving nothing by saying “support” or “no support” and it drowns out people who actually have something useful to say.
  • Does your post add anything to the discussion? Is it kind? Have you read the original post? If the answer to any of these is no, then don't post.
  • think[Please don't communicate like this, using blocks. It clutters up the forum and takes up tons of space]

What are you talking about?
The interface is almost identical, except the player is on the other side.

Does CSS support scripting now? TBH I know nothing about CSS but I'm pretty sure it can only describe the style of a page.

If you mean adding inappropriate CSS, then make CSS creator-only so that only the person that made the CSS can use it.
