Feel free to discuss anything related to the reading of fanfiction! I read Percy Jackson fan fiction online a lot.

I have an extremely similar username on an unspecified, popular fanfic site. Since I don't want this to be removed, I won't specify the username or the site.

Fanfiction is 99.99999999999999 percent of what I read.
It is also 90% of what I write. That other ten percent is boring crud for school.

What fanfiction do you read? As in, what books/movies/whatever is it based off of?

I never read fan fiction, although I do write Sonic fanfics.

Most fan fiction I see either contain inappropriate content (such as swearing and junk you don't need to know) or are just plain bad.

Yeah, most fanfiction does contain stuff like that (which is why I'm not linking the site, even though it has a ratings system that categorizes stories from kid-appropriate to mature teens only). And bad spelling and grammer, as well. But there's still a lot of gems out there.

I mean, I looked it up ONCE just to see how bad the problem was(from the stereotypes for it and all)…

Just looking over the categories that they have(since you have to put tags or something apparently from the one source I saw), the stereotypes aren't wrong XD

I read fanfic when I need something to read ASAP and I don't have any new books… which is more often than you'd expect. I'm usually (90% of the time) on the How To Train Your Dragon archives but I've recently been reading some Warrior Cats ones - better than expected.
