Scratch Song Contest
Scratch Song Contest
This is a new contest which is inspired by the Eurovision Song Contest and other contests on this site. It has 4 rounds and you can just enter the ones that you want to as each one will be judged individually and then there will be overall winners from Round 4 (which implements work from all other rounds). The contest will be held until there are at least 10 final entries but it will be longer if there is more interest.
FAQS
Do you work in teams or individually?
Both, although if you work individually but don't do all of the rounds then you will need to use other people's work and credit them.
If there are multiple creators (a team or people credited) for a project that wins, how are prizes given out?
Prizes are either given to each person or (if one person did 3 rounds and someone used them all in their 4th and only round) given to the main creator and the person who didn't do as much work gets half the regular amount.
How do I join?
Comment on this discussion or the project and then comment your entry for round 1 on the studio (which will be linked on the project and on here). You will then be entered into the contest if your entry is valid.
How do I become a manager?
Enter Round 1 and when you post your project link, ask if you can be a manager. I will then decide whether we can accept you (there shouldn't be loads of managers)
What does each round involve?
Round 1 - composing with note blocks.
Round 2 - writing a song for a piece of music from Round 1.
Round 3 - Singing the song from Round 2.
Round 4 - Making an animated music video (AMV) for a song from Round 3.
When does it start?
Round 1 starts now and each further round will begin when there are at least 5 entries for the previous round.
