So here's the story.

One day, Uncle Joe took out a loaf of bread with some peanut butter and good old-fashioned jelly. He made a PB&J sandwich, like any man would do; he sat on the couch, like any man would so; and watched cat videos, which every man would do. While he was watching, he fell asleep minutes after midnight, dropping his sandwich in the cushions. This is when it happened. Over time, the jelly of the sandwich mixed with his lost socks, xbox 360 controller, and paintbrush to create a living purple goo. When the couch was later sold to a thrift store, the goo escaped and jumped into a sewer system. There, it mutated, and gained the powers of the Ditto we know today.
