So, I want to make a game in which you play as a blood cell. Obviously it would basically be floating in a pool of blood, but I can't imagine that would be enough to gross anybody out. It's inspired by how cells fight off infection, but it wouldn't be scientifically accurate, so it couldn't really be classified as educational. Would that be ok?

I personally think that'd be okay, but that's just my view

That seems OK. It's not like the blood came out of someone because they got hurt or whatever. And fighting a virus sounds like a good concept for a game.

Yeah. A pool of blood that's still inside someone would likely be fine, but not so much if it was outside someone.. that seems like whoever was involved in that was hurt pretty badly

Do you really need it to look like a pool of blood? I think that would be fine as it is, don't get me wrong, but you could just make the background blood-colored, and that seems good enough for me…

I think it's fine. If it's about fighting viruses or anything like that, it would obviously be inside someone and there isn't anything inappropriate about that.

Basically the only situation under which blood isn't allowed is if it's as the result of a violent injury and used to create an impression of violence.
