A Chat! Button on Scratch

It will be like discussing, except more better! You can request a project for everyone to go to, or(maybe private group chats?)There will be lots of Scratchers online. Also, is this a duplicate?

I have about 3450 posts, 90 shared projects, 180 total created/followed topics, and 425 followers.

Well, private chats are rejected. A chatroom for everyone, I believe, will just be filled with spam. With so many users, having a conversation would be impossible, and any bad messages sent on the chat would be so buried by all the other messages that they'd be impossible to find.

Those cloud chats don't get spam because not many people know of their existence. If there's a chat made by the Scratch Team, WAY more people would use it, and spam would be happening MUCH more.

1: Private communication is rejected by the Scratch Team due to bullying which can only be seen by certain users in the communications and because of this, it can't be moderated so easily.

2: Chats at are not allowed unless they are scripted with a whitelist.

1. This would not be private communication… I believe OP is suggesting a chat from the ST, coded into the website.
2. If it's a chat from the ST, it's likely there would be a whitelist, and maybe even a blacklist.

It's rejected. Private messaging has too many issues, and chatroom projects need to have a whitelist (safe chat).

Well, the ST should be able to access the private chat and moderate. If not, then there should be a report button.

ROBLOX, Minecraft, Pokémon, AJ, Miraculous, Warrior cats, HTTYD, and CW fan(and obviosly a girl), girlsruless.
