Hi. I am a new Scratcher. I designed one simple project. But I have a doubt. With move 10 steps block, why the sprite does not move 10 step at a time? I provided it with when clicking event. Bit confused.

Well hello I´m new to scratch, well moreless, on one of the schools I went we have scratch but literally we only learn to move two spaces cause i don´t remember much about it. I decided to take another look at scratch, so i will appreciate if you send me some cool projects.

Really? I waited 5 months with a few projects shared… It depends whether they use algorithms or the scratch team actually selects scratchers, which I doubt…

Hi there. I am not new to scratch but this account is. I have been using scratch for a long time and am familiar with it.

In case you don't know me, I went by the username @stormtrooper112 but left after receiving a lot of negativity. I want to restart and I promise that this time, I will be less cynical than I was before since I now understand that there will be users younger than I am.

About me, I am 14 and will be starting my freshman year in highschool.

Don't worry. I was super confused at first too. The sprite actually does move 10 steps. Unfortunately, the stage is so small that 10 steps is more like one. If you want your sprite to move better, I suggest something like this:

when green flag clicked
forever
if <key [ right arrow] pressed?> then
move (20) steps
else
point in direction ( 90)
end
if <key [ left arrow] pressed?> then
move (-20) steps
else
point in direction ( 90)
end
end
