Why are snap circuits not connected to scratch like lego wedo?

I don't know, but I also really like snap circuits!

I love snap circuits and I agree the should connect to scratch

That's actually possible. Get the audio jack piece, and connect it to your computer. Now, when you play a loud sound with scratch, it will output a small current into the audio jack. You can amplify this with transistors.
