Unresponsive keys

Is it a problem with scratch or just my computer. This is only happening with ‘a’ and ‘d’. The arrow keys are fine

What version of windows and browser are you using? I can only use the arrow keys and space bar in projects, see this post https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/251930/

I am using Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge. Although my PC did update a few days ago.

Press the globe button to give this info

My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 52.0.2743.116, Flash 25.0 (release 0)

Do any other key work? Have you tried the project in the discussion I linked?

@drmcw I just checked and none of the other keys work the browser is the same as yours.

Edge has flashplayer integrated, take a look in Edge settings if it is activated.

drmcw is it working for you now? It still doesn't work for me and I can't go on most things on Scratch that aren't animations.

No still an issue with me. Can't believe more people haven't experienced this yet. Like to know if anyone with the upgrade has things working in edge.

I made 10 in my signature partly because it doesn't need the keyboard!

Assuming this only happens in one part of the site, perhaps it's a project that doesn't have compatibility with it (or not have that scripted/built in)?

It happens in any scratch project. Another thing to note is that the first time a key is pressed then it lags a project for a split second. An ask box does work but typing is very slow.
