Hello Everybody,

This topic seems to be not that important, but maybe you had the same problem already.
How the Subject says, this is about renaming lists. By now, you only can rename Variables but not Lists.
When you have a very large project with a bunch of Lists, and want to rename it, you search for the rename function without any result.
And it is a horribly job to make a new list, and switch every single block to the new list.
So, dear Scratch Team, I would highly prefer it if you add that function by a patch or update, or even include it into Scratch 3.0.

What do you think about it?

For a small project, this would work.

But for a big project, it would take a long time to go around and change each list selected in your scripts.

Semi-support, since most projects on Scratch are small and the way things are encourages non-complicated projects (easier to learn).

(Maybe someone would make an external program to find and replace a list name in a Scratch project.)

Support… I've had to go through this problem many times when refactoring old code.

Support It's not very important but I like having my lists organized with names and when I make a typo I wish I could rename it.

Support. I accidently named a list with lots of data. Had to spend another hour after making another one.

I found that sometimes, I had duplicate variables. Maybe also a merge option could be added? Currently, I just delete the good one (after copying it's name if it's long), then rename the bad one to the good one. Also, support. This should be easy enough to program, list names are just tags, not identifiers. It's fixed in 3.0, though, and earlier versions are going to be obsolete.

Hmm, did you do any research before posting? This is a duplicate of one of the oldest topics in existence.
