The Tinker Bell Topic

Welcome! I’m glad you decided to come check out my new thread (it’s also the first one I’ve ever made here, or ANYWHERE, so, as you can imagine, it’s pretty special to me!!!). As you can probably tell, it’s about Tinker Bell.

I’ve known about Tink AT LEAST since the first “Tinker Bell” movie came out, and maybe even a little bit before that, too.

I’ve read every Tink book I could get my hands on, and seen all the movies, including the “Pixie Hollow Games.” I’ve even played some Tinker Bell video games!!!

So, as you can imagine, Tinker Bell is a pretty important subject to me, and also something I’m very familiar with.

I decided that, since I couldn’t find one of these on the forums already, I’d make one myself, since this really is a worthy topic to add to the Reading and Playing forums.

So, here it is! I’m not really sure what else I have to say about, like, the creation of this topic, just that I wanted to make one, about something I like, and make sure that it wasn’t a duplicate. Speaking of which, I hope this isn’t a duplicate. I mean, I saw that there’s a button at the top of the “Discussion Home” page, but whenever I click it, it just says, “Your search returned no hits”, or something like that, when I hadn’t even gotten a chance to type something in to search!!! So now the only way for me to search for topics is to just go sift through them. And I’m sorry if this is a duplicate topic.

Anyway, here are some Tinker Bell related things you can talk about (I’m sure there are more than this, but I just wanted to put some ideas out there ):

The fairies

Neverland (and some limited talk of its inhabitants, such as Peter Pan, is okay, as long as you focus mainly on the fairies.)

The Tink movies

The Tink books (and the graphic novels. They’re pretty awesome, too. Especially the first 8, in my opinion!!!)

The Tink video games (Like, for the Nintendo 3DS)

“The Never Girls” books (because those take place mainly on Neverland, and they have lots of fairy action in them.)

Tink games you can/could play online (Such as the late pixiehollow.com. That was such a cool game, and it’s really sad that they closed that. I mean, at least you can still go to the Disney Fairies website. It’s not as good, but at least there’s still some stuff on there, such as a few games (one is from the old website!!!), videos, activity pages, and stuff like that.)

And, like I said, there's lots more to talk about that's Tink-related, but I'm probably just not thinking of it right now.

And now, here are the normal rules (which I think apply to ALL of Scratch, anyway. But, I’ve seen people write these in the first post of topics they’ve created, so I thought it would be a good idea.) This is just a friendly reminder. ):

Make sure all of your posts in this topic, and everywhere on the site (including your projects and comments!!) follow the Community Guidelines. Must I say any more?!

That’s right, nothing inappropriate for Scratch. Check out those Community Guidelines. You can find a link at the bottom of EVERY Scratch page, and also the link I put above.

Also, if you post something that might be a spoiler to someone, put it in transparent text, like this: > Look! Transparent text!!!< I would tell you right here and now how to do this, but I’m not sure how to without actually ending up doing it, if you know what I mean. So, here’s a link to part of a page on the Scratch Wiki that will tell you how to do it. By the way, if you then want to then see the text in the post, just highlight it. I put arrows on the ends of mine so that you’d know that there was something there to see, and where it was.

That’s it for the rules for now, but I’ll add more to them if I think of something I forgot to mention.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy chatting on this topic. Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust!!! Bye!!!

I was going to make a banner and put it up here, but I think this is good as is.
Edit: The Scratch Wiki said I could post images that were on Wikipedia!!! I don't know what went wrong!

Yep, I've read it! I really like it, too.

I think Lainey might be my favorite out of the four girls, because she loves animals, and I do, too.

Yeah, Mia is very cool, too!
And I agree, it's great to find other people who share your same interests, isn't it?!

Yeah!
Nice!

So, since you love the Never Girls (I do, too!), you probably like some of the other Tinker Bell books too, right? Have you ever read any of the Tink books by a writer named Gail Carson Levine? They're really good, as well, and they tell some of the stories of how some of the fairies, well, became who they are today. Like Prilla and Rani.

I think you might like them, if you're fond of the fairies!!!

So, I guess there's another Tinker Bell movie coming out in 2020. I can't wait that long! And what if it's a reboot?! And what if the replace the voice actors and actresses?! Oh man…

I barely recall what happened when I first saw the first film because I only saw it once.
But I really admit, they did a good job making a song for that film.

I actually own an old book that is Tinker Bell related. It's somewhere in my dresser tho.

Heh heh, I've actually watched all the movies, like, a ZILLION times! I've actually sometimes had a sort of “Tink Movie Festival”, which is a day or two, or maybe even a few, where I watch ALL OF THE TINKER BELL MOVIES!

Also, yes, that's a really good song! I love it, and it brings back memories of when I first saw the first movie, and of seeing all the movies, and all the times in between.

They did indeed do a good job writing that song!

I started reading Rani and the Three Treasures on Mother's Day (which was May 16), and I finished the book this morning! It was really great. Potential Spoiler: >Talent, love, and friendship are really all we need in life, I think. And maybe Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust, too! I would LOVE being able to fly!<

Has anyone else here ever set up Tinker Bell dolls in a dollhouse? It's really fun, actually.

Tink can cook meals, have friends over for visits, do her tinkering work… Even though she lives in a teapot in the books and movies. Speaking of which, I love tea…! It's just awesome.

Guess what, guys!?!?

Recently, my family got our first high definition TV (our old TV was a kind of old fashioned one; it weighed, like, OVER A HUNDRED POUNDS, had some sort of picture tube, and a BIG HEAVY GLASS SCREEN.), and it's been great. We also got our first Blu-Ray Player as well.

Now, I have some Tinker Bell movie Blu-Ray discs that came with my regular DVD ones, and I wanted to see what it would look like in high definition. So, the first Blu-Ray disc we ever watched was my favorite Tink movie, "Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings". Now, let me just tell you… It. Looked. GREAT! FANTASTIC!! AMAZING!!! I'm not trying to brag or anything; I'm just SO excited!!!

So, yes, I'm just really excited about this, so… Well, it was just SO CLEAR! And bright, and colorful!!! Just, WOW! I think that's all I have to say for now…!! Bye…!!! Wow..!
