Grey "..." block?
On the scratch wiki page called “Raycaster”, there is a gray “…” block that it tells you to use. The grey block looks likes this except the word GREY is replaced with “…”;
Any help finding the block?

Grey "..." block?
This is just supposed to mean that you put whatever there. Just type “…” and it will be grey.
...You can't actually do this in the editor.
I used to be active on the forums, but I have mostly moved past Scratch. I still do check my Scratch messages, so if you'd like to talk to me, just leave a comment on my profile. My main project on Scratch was Cookie Clicker, but my newest project is Snake Snake, a game based off of Snake, but with two snakes, and you can play either singleplayer or multiplayer.

Grey "..." block?
The … block is just a placeholder for optional script. For example, if someone was asking me how to keep running a script until the character had no lives left, I might put:
The … is to show the person I am answering where they can put their script to be repeated. This is NOT a block in the scratch editor, just a block used in demonstrations. They could put:
repeat until <(lives) = (0)>
...
end

repeat until <(lives) = (0)>
say [Hello]
change [lives v] by (-1)
end
Hope you found this useful/interesting/funny

The … block only exists in places where blocks are displayed, not in the editor. It just is a placeholder that means that you put anything in there. Here’s an example of a … block:
if <(score) > (☁ high score)> then
... // This means that you can put whatever you want in there. It is used as a placeholder.
end

Hey folks, this topic is rather old - when you ask for help on an old thread, people often will only respond to the original post because they don't notice yours. if you need help, you're much better off creating a new thread. Be sure to explain the problem you're having! If you have a question about a post that was made here, you can always include a link to it in your new topic. Thanks!
