A friend of mine is quitting Scratch and wants to know how to get rid of his account. Does anybody here know how?

I think you have to contact the Scratch team (using the Contact Us link at the bottom of every page) and give them:

• The name of the account
  The email address of the account
  The date of birth entered when you registered
