Scratch should put a sign that says ‘banned’ when someone is banned from scratch. So people know what happened to someone when they are not playing scratch for a while. Other than that, scratch is good!

I think the way it works now, with the user still visible, is deliberate to avoid the drama that comes when someone well-known is banned. I don't know how well it works since it just invites speculation instead, but I think it's unlikely they would change it.

Account blocks are intended to be only between the user(s) involved and the Scratch Team. So, having a feature letting everyone know of a user's account block just gets more scratchers involved and raises the drama level. Plus, it would be a breech to the user's privacy, and I'm sure they most likely wouldn't want others to know about the ban.

Right - it seems best to us to let the blocked account owner decide if they want to make the block public or not.

This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.
