(i think this is a bug…)

whenever im in bitmap mode and select something with the selection tool the thing selected “teleports” to another place when i click off the selection tool, or click another area. i believe for it to move, you should have to drag it, and not click an area.

Yeah, the bitmap selection tool has a lot of problems. I mostly find the teleporting problem happens when I go to another costume and back again. You can stop it completely by switching to another costume and back again after every time you move a selection, but that's a very tedious workaround.

If it's still a bug, it's still relevant. Necroposting only matters where the thread has outlived its relevancy.

This happens to me too. I was trying to move letters from cooltext and they kept getting messed up.

I understand this is pretty old, but its still happening to me(although much less frequently) and i would rather not make a new topic, I think its okay to bump this?
