I'm not impressed.
I have a simple question about projects involving constant remixing:
WHAT'S THE LINE?
What I mean is, what's the difference between a project which is spamming search results (e.g put yourself in the <insert place here>) and one that from a more creative idea (e.g a free-to-use game engine). I find that if it is relevant to programming or it is a program, it is probably not spam. If it is a picture with people remixing it with their own caricature, it is spam.
So, what does the ST think?

They are not against any rules. Yes, scratch is about learning how to program, but it also about being part of a community.

I agree. The other day I was looking at that project called “Put yourself in the nether portal” thing. IT WAS FLOODING THE MINECRAFT SEARCH!!!

True, Scratch is a community. I think there should be a “programming” and an “art/music/etc” search group to clear stuff out.

I think for the search results you should try using “most remixed”, “most loved”, “most relevant” etc. You will certainly get better-sorted results than “newest”.
i have grown as a person. and ive grown, literally. none of my posts from before 2022 represent me accurately.
