Problems Shared ©

Dear Sparrows,
It`s really hard when a pet dies isn`t it? I think it is. My dog died a few days ago, and I miss him so much. He was like my shadow. I`ve become really sensitive, and my family would say that I cry all the time now.
My Dad suggested getting a new dog, but it wouldn`t be the same. I don`t want another dog. I hope that I will be able to feel better soon, but I`ll always miss my dog.
From Anonymous Sparrow

Dear Anonymous Sparrow,
I`m sorry to hear that your dog died. I hope you feel better soon too. I understand that you wouldn`t want a new dog straight away, it has to feel right.
I`m sure your dog was really lovely, and it`s natural to miss him. Our dogs can feel like family.
I suggest you make a memory box about your dog, and fill it with his toys, some photos of him, and decorate it so it looks special. Then you will have something very special to remember him by.
I hope that you feel better soon.

My Story
By FromSratch

This is The Story of How I Got a Pet Sparrow

Well, he was rejected by his Mom and I come outside one day doing my chores and here was this little baby bird upside down struggling so I went inside to tell my Mom. She comes and looks, and then she then let me take him inside. I setup a glass terrarium heating pad with a reptile heating pad on the side. Well, then every day for a month or so I fed him every 2 hours with ugh warm wet soaked dog food through a syringe when the time came I tried to release him (by the way, his name is Cheep I wanted to name him Sparta, but no, everyone had to call him cheep!!) well every time I tried he just came back home and many weeks later I end up with a pet sparrow! I love him, he's my baby, and he is watching me write this while eating his food!
