I can agree on the huge-sized blocks argument, so support for that.
However, I don't really think “Events is now the color of 2.0 Controls” and “Custom blocks are now pink” are much of problems.

And on touchscreen computers…?

In “Minecraft” the onscreen controls appear when the screen is being touched and disappear when the mouse moves, so something similar could be done to the padding, though I'm not sure if that's possible with Blockly.

200% support. The whole thing is incredibly ugly in my opinion because there is far too much padding and the text is too small for the block. I'd rather have options to go with the current block style or the new one. You could use the current style for computers and the new style for mobile (with the padding slightly shrunk down because oh boy, that is a lot of scrolling

)
Although the new style will probably grow on me after a while, it will still be inconvenient with those massive blocks.

TBH, I don't really mind that much. The slight inconvenience of extra scrolling is balanced out because:

They'd be easier to manipulate, and:
they look better.

These new blocks do look better than the 3D-looking blocks in 2.0, but they are too big, and because of that, they feel so kiddy. The blocks need to be much smaller. Support.
