How to install adobe AIR on Ubuntu, Linux Mint or Elementary OS Luna and perhaps Debian

If anyone here runs any of the Linux Distros Detailed above, they will know what a trial it is trying to get the Adobe AIR Application Installer to run on Linux. With a little terminal savviness, though, you can make it happen! Start by Downloading the latest Linux Version of Adobe AIR (clicking here will begin the download.) Once you have the .bin installer, type these commands in the terminal (press control-Alt-T to open one):
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libbz2-1.0:i386 libgtk2.0-0:i386 libnss3:i386 libxaw7:i386
(In Debian you will need to be Logged in as root.) Congrats! You have now installed Adobe AIR on your system!!
Can I have a Sticky, Scratch Team?
