When I used Fedora, I noticed keyboard input and sound didn't work in Scratch 1.4. It works perfectly on Debian.

It only works this way on Debian and (Probably) Debian based distros.

because i'm used to using apt-get to install packages (i came from linux mint) and apt-get has the packages i need but pacman doesn't

use a deb file or package it yourself or https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/scratch/
