As a Silvaze shipper I love seeing the two together. They're so cute. However I mainly like Sonamy better.

They're often portrayed as attractive in fan art.
They both “died” and then returned later, alive and well.
They can both master energy.
They are often antisocial and bitter.
Shadaze can be the Sonic counterpart of Umbreon/Espeon.
Black fits with lavender very well.
They both have fangs.
They take role of saving the world.

Um…. WHAT THE HECK. Other than 2 and 3… It's either personal opinion or things that most Sonic characters do/have.

Avernita is basically a Mephiles form of Blaze.

Floee is supposed to be part of a new generation, and homosexuality isn't uncommon, especially today.
Rouge and Knuckles would be an Adult x Child ship in most places, so Rouge would have no partner.
Floee and Silver could never happen, because Silver would need to stay in the future to protect it.
