SMILEY NEWS
NEW April 17th, 2017: @GeeTransit working on AI
@GeeTransit has just announced that they will be working on an AI system for Smiley Fighters, allowing for you to play by yourself. It is unknown at the moment whether or not it will be an AI that will learn the player strategies as you go, or if it will simply be based on a bunch of algorithms based on the player location and weapon being used to allow for the enemy to attack. It may take a long time, but hopefully the final result will be something that people will be happy about. I will be making an option for single player or local multiplayer upon pressing “Start”. Another thing to mention is that the code may be simplified, lowering the size of the project and load times so that we can make more updates to the game as we go.
March 7th, 2017: Curated Project: Smiley Fighters Platformer
Recently, a game based off of Smiley Fighters, “Smiley Fighters Platformer” by @nickeljorn, has been curated and put on the front page of the website. This is very exciting, as Smiley Fighters is now being noticed by more people on the site. It may not be the actual game, but it's great that people are enjoying the game and the amazing creations that have come out of it. However, as this project has been on the front page, Smiley Fighters has ended up surpassing 100 love-its, thus making it no longer eligible to be featured.
February 28th, 2017: Let's Talk about Featured
I always wanted Smiley Fighters to be featured, and apparently, so did many others. However, since my other project got featured in January, the project will be unable to be featured until halfway through March. At the rate Smiley Fighters is gaining traction, it may end up surpassing 100 love-its before then, and would then be unable to be featured. Sorry if you wanted to see it front-paged.
February 1st, 2017: Music Update
Smiley Fighters v1.27, AKA the Music Update, is completed. All the music has been made by @depuit.
January 13th, 2017: Visual Changes Update Completed!
Smiley Fighters v1.25, AKA the Visual Changes Update, is fully complete! Every part of the game has been changed to look much better than it did before.

Fire Dodge (By @GoldSpark)
Have one character use the fireball weapon and have the other use a sword. Hold the ‘use weapon’ button for the character with the fireball down while moving around the sword character. Try to defeat the fire guy. It's fun! (For extra fun, have the ‘sword guy’ use the medic.)

Well, the AI would be incredibly hard to program; it would actually have to be intelligent, and have different programming for every weapon, right? I would program it if I was able to. Artificial Intelligence - It would allow people to play who have nobody to play with

True, but if you had a bigger team of programmers you could make a ‘dumb’ AI

Well, currently the team is 1 person, so it's not happening any time soon.Well, the AI would be incredibly hard to program; it would actually have to be intelligent, and have different programming for every weapon, right? Also, I think it's more fun as a multiplayer game, because then you get more satisfaction if you win.

Guys, just thought I'd pop here and announce that I will be making an AI with Smiley Fighters! YAY!!! It will take time, so don't panic if it takes up to 2 months, actually… panic when I do. Reason it takes this long is because of school. So, get ready for another big update!
To WolfCat67: I've got the starting bits, now I have 2 options. I could either modify the code so I write less, or I could not need modifying (except for stopping the player from controlling him) and write a bit more. What do you want?
(I do know thismay have been deserted, and sorry if I do sound like I am assuming a higher role in this game that WolfCat67

Oh, great! That's awesome! Guys, just thought I'd pop here and announce that I will be making an AI with Smiley Fighters! YAY!!! It doesn't matter how long it takes, as long as it works. What will happen if I create new weapons during the designing process, or will the AI be simple enough to understand (such as using a custom block) that I can modify it easily, or maybe you could add more as I go along?
I don't plan on adding many more weapons though… Only finishing the second page should be enough.
For the options, I think you should be OK with modifying the code as long as it works the EXACT SAME and doesn't interfere with anything else. It needs to change the touch ground variable to 1 whenever you're actually on top of the platform or the ground, and not jumping, as well as having the programming to be able to jump properly based on the costumes. It may be complicated, but if you can simplify the code and make it take less space that would definitely be awesome and would allow for many more updates in the future; the project size limit is starting to scare me a little.

Sorry for writing an entire essay about this in literally two minutes, but I'm quite excited about this. If this is done, there goes the only thing people don't like about the project in an instant! After that's done, I'll put you in the credits for “AI Engine” as well as “Code Simplified”.
Thank you!

Great Game. I added a weapon suggestion on the weapon suggestion page, but I have not gotten a reply to it. I like the idea of using household items for weapons in the game as well as the other weapons. You really are creative WolfCat.
