Micro:Bit extension

I think you should develop an Add Extension set of blocks for the BBC Micro:Bit, because it would just be cool.

This was not necessarily a suggestion to the Scratch Team, and it does have to do with experimental extensions

I'm not sure this is possible: I tried (briefly) to do it, but I only got the simple connection working, not real communication. At the moment, I think maybe there should be a dedicated firmware, not the original one, but eventually I could be wrong.

Anyway, you could use this: http://www.picaxe.com/BBC-microbit/

There's this option too but, as far as I know, at the moment it works if you use Scratch and Raspberry Pi:

Micro:Bit extension

Hi..i am a new user here. As per my knowledge it would be good if Scratch 2 programs for Microbit could run unchanged on Sense HAT. The only difference would be that you would have to use another extension. Then Raspberry Pi 3 with Sense HAT could be like a deluxe Microbit. One difference now is that Microbit have 1 based coordinates for the display, and Sense HAT, 0 based.

Micro:Bit extension

Hi, there is also an micro:bit extension in ScratchX for mac os. Link: https://llk.github.io/microbit-extension/. However I have trouble connecting the micro:bit to the ScratchX environment from the Scratch Device Manager. When I click connect in the Scratch Device Manager, there is an instruction to ‘Press the button on your micro:bit’. I can't figure out what button this is. I've tried A, B, A+B, on the LEDs but nothing works and I can't connect to the micro:bit. I get an error message ‘No micro:bit found’. Has anyone here tired this extension? Do you might know how/which button to press on the micro:bit to connect?
