Hello everyone! This is @SCRATCHERNUMBERONE, the official host of Crystalline Wars, or Crystal Wars for short. This is the official forum thread for discussions, demands, and inquiries. Below are somethings about Crystalline Wars:
What is Crystalline Wars?-
It is a collaborative contest where you have to work with your team members and make many types of project that are stated in each event
How can I sign up?- Here is the application form: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/129054455/ You have to remix it, then fill out the application form in the project SORRY, SIGNUPS ARE OVER!!!
Results are OUT: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/130663027/
If you are leader or a team member please read ALL OF BELOW:
Things Team Leaders Should Do (Mandatory, Required):
1. Make a team account. The username should be @CRW-TeamXXXX and please replace “XXXX” with your team name. Remember, DO NOT SHAEE ACCOUNTS, this can get your team account banned/ block which would make the contest over. Please do this as fast as possible, within 3 days, before Event 1 :) Also, USE THE TEAM ACCOUNT TO FOLLOW @CrystallineWars and @SCRATCHERNUMBERONE. This is so me and the judges can keep track of all teams.
2. Create a studio for each event. This would make organising your team members easier and you can work on projects through REMIXING. Also, please finish this in 3 days, before Event 1, thank you! :D
3. Make a logo/ intro for your team. You can discuss and wok together with your teammates, so the logo/ intro would look just right to everyone in your team. This is also required, so please finish this as soon as possible :)
Things Team Leaders Can Do (Optional, Not Required, Recommended)
1. Make a Discord server. This is SUPER USEFUL, you can chat privately with your teammates, discuss things, etc. Doing this is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, and it would be AWESOME if you can make it. I, however, will not make a Discord server for Crystalline Wars, I think there would be no need to chat on private about general Crystalline Wars stuff :)
2. Create a forum thread. This would be great for discussing about stuff since forums are easier and more convenient to use than comments. Leaders (or Co-Leaders) can also make similar signatures (banners) for their team members so me and the other judges know which team they are on :)
Event One is HERE!!!
In this event, you have to…
-Create a simple game that is creative, simple, and addictive
-Simple, creative games would get more points than big games
-The project would be marked out of 50 points; 25 for Gameplay, 15 for Design, and 10 for Creativity
-The deadline is 12/2/16
-The final product will be shared by the team leader on the TEAM ACCOUNT
-You have to work on projects through remixing, improving other's drafts and organising drafts in studios
Please help spread the word by posting the Crystalline Wars link on your profile! If you have any questions or demands, please make a new post!
Updates: Event One Results will be out on 12/2/16!!!
Happy Scratching!

I just realised I didn't understand how many people there will be – I didn't put enough effort in. I do think I am a good candidate, having programmed in languages other than Scratch and knowing how every blocks works, and how to use them (that means I can make 100% pen projects, and avoid race conditions). I just don't think I had enough space to explain all that, but, please, choose me. I have a basic understanding of how Griffpatch's Text Adventure game, and I even remixed it adding an autocomplete feature; however, I unshared it because it was a remix - and - well - to be honest - I was afraid of the prejudgements people would make when they see a remix - especially one of griffpatch. Griffpatch posted the comment “Clever!” on that project though.
Since I started Scratch, I have made a pen rendered project that draws bézier curves (you can drag the dots around - but this is inspired by a project by @Chibi-Matoran - though I did not look at their code), a calculator that supports PEMDAS and explains the steps to solve it (as well as also solving it), fixed a bug [not a Scratch project] in Scratch's source code (the one where point-towards mouse didn't work), and implemented and created a code-golfing programming language called POTATO for a competition called ATC#5.. as well as much more.
Thanks for reading, and I think that is all I wanted to say, that I didn't manage to say in my remix.

Wow, really nice! Do you think you can manage to stay for at least an hour on Scratch a day, and do you think you can use Discord? Ok! Not being able to use Discord is fine, you can contact your team leader (or if you are the team leader) and find a way to communicate with your team members (if you get in)!1) I am usually on for 5h a dayWow, really nice! Quick question – who will be deciding who gets in?
Also, I am working on a pen engine - in case I get it - I can use it to help my team make pen projects.
