I also am considering upon having a new benefit implemented which I haven't directly seen in other federations.

The idea is inter-shop order completions. This is a benefit in which any person who is a member of a shop under the USS can complete orders for any other shop, despite not being a member of that shop. This improves productivity and possibly preventing old, incompletable orders from being neglected or argued upon.

Oh, that's what I do with my partners. So you want the USS to basically be a group of partners? I thought there was only a connection from our shops to the USS, not each shop to other shops in the USS.

I wanted to inquire about joining this. My ‘shop’ falls in a grey area according to your terms, with elements of a shop and a subsidiary. It takes orders like a normal shop, but none of the orders are actually done in house, they are sent to other shops. It also has a library expansion that was planned from day 1, that will be added very soon. Which one should I apply as?

Yes, you are right - members are just connected to the USS, and not other shops in terms of benefits. Not only would this add more benefits to our members, but it'll also improve productivity of slow shops.

My only main concern is some shops might feel obligated to add all the people who have helped to their staff list, and I'm not too sure what to act on that - I was thinking that they should not list individual contributors, but rather put “Additional assistance by USS members.”

Hmm, first of all - welcome to the forum, we hope you will find this response, alongside other responses constructive and I am pleasured to meet you.

Secondly, on the main topic, as co-owner I would say that this is a shop, due to the fact that it accepts orders in a typical format, but the fact that becomes questionable is that you don't complete orders “in-house” as you said, which means it doesn't complete orders officially, but it still accepts and gets it completed.

Bottom line, I say it's a shop and it should have a proper application filed as a shop - and not a subsidiary. However, as I'm not 100% sure about how other members of the USS feel about this, so I will be asking for a vote from our judicial department.

In case anyone is confused, this is a vote done by the judicial department members, in which the verdict will be announced as what it should be applied as.

Justices may either say “shop”, “subsidiary”, avoid jurisdiction, or just say neutral. As expected, one answer requires two supporters, and despite the fact the other might think otherwise, it will remain the decision. If one of the justices, deciding the tie, avoid jurisdiction or remain neutral, a random person representing the USS will be chosen and speak their opinion.

1. I will make my seal later today. Do seals have to be round?
2. Do you want me to make a 900x200 version?

1. Yes, I forgot to mention that.
2. 900x200 being approximate banner size, like in stryer21's signature, then yes (if you're talking about the banner and not the seal.)
