Welcome, fellow Scratchers, to this official forum post talking about my upcoming RPG game project, The Scroll. After a LOT of thinking, I decided:
“Hey, I can't do everything in this project, I know that for sure…so why not let some other Scratchers into the project?” I have decided to do just that. As stated above, this discussion is about the upcoming RPG game, called The Scroll. I have a few things right here that I CANNOT do, and that will be offered to others. The list is below. It also will include things that I CAN do, and I will have my name by those things. When you sign up to help out with one of those things listed below, your username will be placed there.

Music: Myself. I have already planned the names, and composition will begin shortly. If someone wants to help, I will allow it.
Scripting: Some of this will be handled by me, HOWEVER: I will need a multidirectional scrolling script used in most RPGs. An example is on @gamerkeeg's profile, by the name of Hope RPG. An engine in progress which I found is called RPG engine 5.5c.
Storyline: Myself and perhaps one or two other creative Scratchers.
Graphics: I cannot draw very well, so an excellent artist will be needed to design the characters, the map, the places, etc. (Two or more is allowed)
Other Scripting: I will decide on a few functions needed for the game later, as I have not yet started work. I may need help with those, so they will be listed here later.
Names for Characters, Places, etc: Anyone can suggest a name for a character or place and I will decide whether to approve it or not.
Sound Effects: A few good medieval sound effects would be appreciated. (Example: The sound of a sword being unsheathed.)

That is all that I currently have. This will be updated.

Some additional information: I will be hiring until everything listed above has been taken. This will also be updated.

First person games are games where you are viewing the game through the eyes of the main character. Kinda like Minecraft.

Space surfer Is one of my better projects, but Star Wars flight simulator has a semi-scroller.
I try to get on as much as possible, but I have school during the week.
I have been on scratch for almost two years, and have been scratching for more.
