Support, although slightly workaround able.uh, unless you don't have a script modifying the cloud var xDset [old data v] to (☁️ cloud)

I don't know if that would work, normally if you try to modify a cloud variable with no connection it will still appear to change locally.
Support for this suggestion. Something to synchronise time with the server would also be good, but I think there are already suggestions for that.
If you can read this, my signature cubeupload has been eaten by an evil kumquat!

I don't get why people keep saying “It would be confusing for new Scratchers”. There is a help bar for a reason, plus they don't need to use it if they don't want to.

If a new scratcher remixes a project with this block made by a scratcher, what would happen? Would it have to be made so new scratchers can't even click “see inside” on projects with this block?
Please read my signature! It might explain some lingo that I used in my post or comment. However, not all of it shows, so you have to highlight the entire bottom of the post, from “Please read my signature!” to where it says report, and copy and paste in into a new sheet or tab or whatever.
I can't decide my signature between:
1. I'm a grammar stickler, and my pet peeve is when people use good as an adverb.
2. I have lots of [creativity]original ideas[/creativity]. [creativity]This[/creativity] is one of those ideas.
3. If I used this symbol: ⸮ in my comment, please look it up before doing anything else.
4. {Minot, North Dakota/Donald Trump parodies} “WE'RE GONNA BUILD A DAM AND MAKE CANADA PAY FOR IT!” “When Canada sends its water, they’re not sending their best drinking water…They’re bringing sleet. They’re bringing floods. The water's toxic.” (It's just a joke that I came up with.)
5. One should make his/her signature text small; that way (s)he can cram more text into the signature.

Would it have to be made so new scratchers can't even click “see inside” on projects with this block?If the project had no cloud data, it'd return NaN. And a new scratcher can't get cloud data via remixing - problem solved.

I used to be active on the forums, but I have mostly moved past Scratch. I still do check my Scratch messages, so if you'd like to talk to me, just leave a comment on my profile. My main project on Scratch was Cookie Clicker, but my newest project is Snake Snake, a game based off of Snake, but with two snakes, and you can play either singleplayer or multiplayer.

Support, however can't you do this with a raspberry pi?
1. set cloud variable #1 to 1 and start the timer
2. rasp. pi sets cloud variable #2 to 1
3. when you receive #2 as 1 stop timer
I get that not everyone has a Pi, but to run an extreme online game you may want/need to use one.

Support! You can make this with timers but it would be hard.Yes, I believe you could - but it'd require a specific host project mode, which would be a pain to do for something so integral to cloud interactions. Overall, it's a capability Scratch largely lacks.
