Keyboard Shortcuts for the Costume Editor

I often use other programs to edit my sprites/costumes, but when I use the built in one I find it a bit annoying. I suggest that there are some keyboard shortcuts added

'B': Brush
'L': Line
'R': Rectangle
'C': Ellipse ('E' would be used for eraser)
'T': Text
'F': Fill / Bucket
'E': Eraser
'S': Select
'D': Reshape
'V': Remove Background
'A': Select and Duplicate

Obviously the original buttons would be kept, but adding these shortcuts would be helpful for people who want to do things faster.

Could you elaborate on how this makes costume editing faster? You use your mouse to draw/reshape anyway, personally, I'd rather click a button then bother to go find the button on my computer.

You also have to remember that there are certain things that only work for certain editors. For instance, you can't reshape stuff in bitmap. So if you pressed ‘D’ while in the bitmap editor, what would happen? Would it just do nothing/come up with an error message, or would it auto-switch you to the vector editor? I could see that last option getting a bit annoying.

Thank you for your response.

I understand that you would enjoy pressing the buttons better than the keys. That's why it would be an optional feature. It would make costume editing faster for people (that want to use it) because instead of moving their mouse over and pressing the buttons, they can have it right where they want it and just press a keyboard button. I am a bit confused about what you mean by ‘You use your mouse to draw/reshape anyway’

If someone were to press a button that only worked in bitmap or vector, then it would do nothing.

I'm saying that this would make a lot more sense if you actually used your keyboard in the editors, that way you wouldn't have to switch over to your mouse. But the only place your keyboard is currently used is in making text sprites, you use your mouse to actually do the drawing part of it. Does that make sense?
Yes, I understand this is an optional feature, I'm just still not seeing how this is going to be useful enough that it should be implemented. Maybe that's just me.

Full Support. Whenever i'm making a project, I usually have my tablet and a few other hand-held devices I'm using while creating a project. Having these keyboard-based shortcuts could help me and other scratchers by having only to ‘boop’ a button instead of having to drag our mouse with full hands.

but for people like me using drawing tablets we would be able to quickly switch to a tool
