The Amazing World of Gumball
taking a quick break from my taking a quick break from scratch because this is very important.
e slater, the youtube channel that became infamous for posting low-effort gumball movie “leaks” that eventually culminated in a gumball animation that resembled the show perfectly (to the point where people were wondering if the channel actually belonged to cartoon network), released a new video yesterday titled “who is e slater?” which leaves everyone with more questions than answers.
additionally, e slater made a playlist titled “SOUND”, containing six unlisted videos, five of which were the soundtrack for e slater's last two videos, and one of which was a bunch of freeze-frames of gumball scenes played very fast (which you shouldn't watch, it's very seizure-inducing to the flashing images). alongside those freeze-frames was some rather odd audio that i decided to put through a spectrogram to see if i found anything interesting.
and i did.
to clarify, i'm not the one who first documented this, but i'm the first one to make a video about it.
i hope we find out more about this whole e slater thing soon. i doubt it's an official thing, but even as a fanmade project i want more answers. the channel does have a business email attached to their profile - maybe i'll send them an email sometime and ask for an interview or something.
