The ADWSS thread was pretty popular, so I decided I'd start a thread for Lost Media and hunting it down.

The first thing I'd like to bring to attention is the lost Cracks Sesame Street segment. If you haven't heard of it you should go check out the Bedhead Bernie video about it. They ended up finding it, but it's a crazy story.

There's one piece of lost media that piques my interest above all others and that's the Tensai Bakabon English dub.
As the link above shows, the second Bakabon anime, titled Ganso Tensai Bakabon (Original Genius Bakabon) is listed on TMS's English site as Meet the Boneheads. Mama, Papa, Bakabon, and Hajime's names are changed to Barbara, Bill, Bobby, and Bo respectively.
The test pilot, if one even exists, hasn't been found. There is evidence that there might've been, as shown in the Indonesian dub's opening, which not only uses the Meet the Boneheads title, but a different opening sequence than than the original Japanese opening for the series does.
You'd assume this is enough solid evidence for a test pilot existing, but the guarantee would be that if the ending had voice actors credited, but it doesn't. My guess would be that the opening and ending sequences for Meet the Boneheads completed, but the new audio was never recorded (hence why the opening and ending use the Japanese audio tracks)
But man, if there WAS a test pilot, I want to see it so bad.

Bump/update regarding this
After looking into it, the particular TMS logo that can be seen before the Meet the Boneheads intro was used from 1999-2009, so it aired somewhere around that time. By the earliest of that period, the fourth series “Rerere no Tensai Bakabon” was having its run, meaning when Ganso- aired, it was in reruns. I'm not sure if every Indonesian dub episode of the show uses this intro or if it was an accidental run. I'll have to look into it…

Does anyone know the status of the original stereo Japanese Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z broadcast audio?

There's a really cool-looking and obscure unfinished PS2 game (only ever made it to pre-alpha) out there called Explosion Royale. Ashens did a video on it recently and it's quite a simple yet intriguing demo.

I just emailed TMS Entertainment with all my information regarding and inquiring about Meet the Boneheads. Here's to hoping they answer with new information.

There is a variant of “My Dream! My Melody!” from Onegai My Melody containing My Melody's voice. But now it's literally impossible to find it.

But there is still a lot more of Onegai My Melody content that is lost already.

That doesn't count as a lost media, which is usually considered as an urban legend.

Sonic X-treme was confirmed to exist.

No, lost media is more often than not confirmed to exist, it's just that it's unreleased or…well, lost. Some lost media even has clips and snippets resurface as proof they exist

This one is extremely obscure, but maybe someone else will remember it. In my sixth grade class we had an online literature textbook. It was from Pearson. My teacher was the only one who ever used it though. I remember there being this song that had all of the vocab words in it. It was called “Get My Point Across” and it was by a group called Hydra. I'm 99.999% sure though that Hydra isn't a real group at all, because after doing tons of searches, no rap group named Hydra ever came up. I know the song is still out there somewhere, and I'd probably pay to hear it again, lol. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I really want to see the cut pie fight ending to Dr. Strangelove, but that's locked up tight by the Kubrick estate.

The reasons Kubrick took it out were legitimate; the people throwing pies were having way too much fun; the set people made it very clear that they only had one shot at it; and one part featured the President getting hit with a line from one of the generals being “Our president has just been hit in his prime!” or something to that effect, and days before the airing date Kennedy was assassinated so Kubrick felt that was a little too close to home.

That being said, some meaning to the movie was lost because the scene was taken out. I'm not going to explain the whole fight, but what I really got out of it was that the namesake character, Dr. Strangelove, who was basically the most insane person in the government, turned out to be the most sane and was kind of accepted as the US' new, true leader. I think this sent a very powerful message about the ridiculousness of the Cold War (from Kubrick's perspective) and how the most insane person could see this, while the more experienced and ‘sane’ higher-ups couldn't.

Instead, what's shown in the movie is the world promptly blowing up after Strangelove stands from his wheeelchair, is bewildered for a second, then exclaims, “Mein Fuhrer! I can walk!”

It was a spectacular movie nonetheless- one of my favorites- but I'm still sad they couldn't pull off the pie fight.

It's inappropriate in spots so I'd double check reviews or something before you watch it, and depending on how old you are, ask your parents (if you're going to watch it).

Kekcroc's voice still gives me nightmares.

How about Musical Mornings with Coo? I haven't seen any videos of it online, and not much people talk about it.
