How to reopen a topic or a thread that I have closed ?
Note that the thread I want to open again was started by me.

There are some incidents and facts in Bible that just keep us thinking why did it happen!.. This studio is just the collection of the explanation of those wonderful facts under the title.. ‘What do you THINK?’

If it's your topic, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and where the “Close” was there should be “Open” or “Reopen” or something similar.

I am not sure if you can reopen a topic if the scratch team has closed it. But, if you closed it, then you should be able to.

You can still ask a moderator to re-open it.

The Open Topic button isn't available anymore…. The Scratch Team decided to remove it due to the fact that some scratchers were reopening a thread closed by a moderator. But you can always report your topic for it to be reopened.

College student studying Communication and Fire Technology, communication lab tutor, guitar and piano player, perfectionist, and just some guy who regularly eats and trains physically to stay healthy.

A necropost is when you make a post on a thread that has been inactive for more than about 2 months.

The reason necroposts are discouraged is because it generates unnecessary clutter in the list of topics on the front page of the forum – old threads like this one aren't going to be very productive if the original poster hasn't even looked at it for months.

I think the topic has ran its course and the initial question has been answered.

To summarize - you cannot reopen a topic that has been closed yourself. However, you can use the report button to ask a moderator to reopen it for you.
