I'm trying to make a platformer game but I'm stuck on what to do.
I got arrow keys to work but how do you make obsticles work?

I'm not really very experienced with platformer games myself, but there are a lot of scratchers who are. I would take a look at some one else's game. You could even use someone's platformer engine (giving credit, of course)
