Please, what is cloud data and how could I implement it for, say, a high score?

Cloud data is used for saving data in the cloud. To use it, go to make a variable, tick the ‘cloud variable’ box, then use the set/change block to change data held within the var. This can be access from all other devices.

Cloud data is data that is stored on one of Scratch's servers, and is also accessible to all instances of the project being run globally. In short, if you change a cloud variable when you play the project, anyone else playing the project at that time can see the change, and vice versa.

How to make a high score? Simple.

It's as simple as that. Have fun with the cloud!

For some reason, when I try to make a cloud variable and I tick the little box, the variable doesn't show up in my blocks bar. Any solutions?

I'm not sure. I think several people have had issues with making cloud variables recently, though it was normally fixed the next time they tried.

Sorry picopaper, but what fixed your cloud data problem? It's just I have the exact same problem as you had, in that any cloud variable I make does not show up in the blocks bar.

I'm making a game in scratch to save your username when you press the green flag and will save what you do. but if there could be more than one person, how do I make the login without going into someone else's things. hard to answer but need help

It seems that you just have to close out and wait a few minutes before trying again.
