Squash and stretch

It would be nice if there was an effect where you could squash and stretch a sprite, it could allow much more things to animations in scratch, and other stuff,

setSquasheffectto0setStretcheffectto0
And it will help me develop my Undertale projects.

Squash and stretch

Please explain how you want to “squash” and “stretch” a sprite. There are over 100 ways of doing that, and there are 2 definitions of “squash” (just teasing on that one ). Which direction do you want to squash a sprite? In what way does it alter the sprite? Does it make the sprite skinnier and longer, or does it make it shorter and more plump?

Please explain.

Well, squash is decreasing size in y, and stretch is increasing size in x.

Saying “support” means you like the idea and it should be added.

Anyways, support. This would help for some of my animations :P

Well, The “squash” will stretch horizontally and “stretch” will stretch vertically.
So, Minus squash & stretch will make it look skinner or wack.

Thing is, this one is older than that one, in my opinion I think it should be merged with that topic

I don't think that will be closed, as that one has provoked way more discussion than this one.

It might be used, but I'm not sure if I'm going to use it. So… semi-support.
