Folder shows that projects exist, but they're not listed

I'm teaching Scratch, and one of my students is having a problem. When he clicks on his folder, the “My Stuff” screen says he has a certain number of projects … but those projects never appear in a list, so he can't access them. (This isn't a momentary network problem or something; it's been happening for days.)

Any idea why they wouldn't be listed even though the system knows they exist?

Thanks!

It would be really helpful to give the system information like
“My browser / operating system: Windows 7, Firefox 25.0, Flash 11.9 (release 900)” (for example)

Are you using Scratch 1.4? Maybe try accessing, if on Windows, the project from Windows Explorer instead of the Scratch 1.4 file organizer.

Edit: never mind, you're using the online editor. Not sure…

OK, sorry - he's using the online Scratch 2.0 from a MacBook Pro running OSX 10.7.5, and I believe he's using Chrome (not sure which version).

click the globe picture next to the emoticans and it will automatically say something like this “My browser / operating system: Windows 7, Microsoft Internet Explorer 10.0, Flash 10.3 (release 181)”

Clear the Cache, Cookies, and Browser History, and see what happens.

Thanks … but since it's the weekend, I can't get that info right now. I'll have to wait until I see the student in school.

Sounds like it's worth a try - I'll advise him to do this.

I appreciate your intention to help, but I don't know whether I should give out a student's username (even though he's shared some of his projects) … this is my first year teaching computers, and I'm not fully up to speed on privacy policies.

A username is not personal information.

And scimonster is an RCM (retired community moderator), so I don't see a reason as to not trust him.
