GIF won't upload.
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 49.0.2623.112, Flash 21.0 (release 0)
Okay, so I tried to upload a GIF image onto my stage AND sprite costumes, but it doesn't seem to work, it keeps popping up with this:
“Sorry, Scratch was unable to load the image UndertaleIntro.”
I read the wiki, but it doesn't seem to work. I can't post the image, because it's a local save, so someone please help!

My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 49.0.2623.112, Flash 21.0 (release 0)The GIF is probably too big. Scratch can't upload large files, such as large GIFs. That's most likely the problem. Sorry, but you're just gonna have to find a different GIF, or make do with it.

If you really care you can use a website that takes a gif and splits it into individual frames, then you can import one by one or use tosh

GIF won't upload.
This is stupid, it uploaded a gif with over 90 parts to it, but yet it won't upload a gif with less then 50

GIF won't upload.
As not to create a duplicate, I've had a similar problem. I tried uploading an 8 KB gif, but it ends up getting distorted in the editor. Parts of the frame get discolored or deleted. My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 10452.99.0, Chrome 66.0.3359.203, Flash 29.0 (release 0) Anybody have a similar problem or a fix other than splitting up my gif?

uh hi, im also having this problem. my gif is only 2.3mb big. also, a month ago i successfully uploaded a gif that was 3.77mb. so how can i not upload something smaller? i also tried re-exporting the gif and it still didnt work

visit wayback machine and go to scratch.mit.edu chose 2018 or whatever year you want and then chose your project and upload the gif file

I managed to upload a gif some months ago, but after this new update, it doesen't even show the gifs in the folder where i have the. I search for the gif, it shows the name, i select it, but nothing happens at all.

Gifs are moving so it may be hard to use them anyway.
