I think Scratch should have a rule where if you make a remix, it should be changed before it's shared, otherwise it would be the same as the original one itself. I've had 2 projects of mine which were remixed but never changed. One of them was given credit to the remixer! It's unfair to have a project and have it remixed without being changed, and all of a sudden it's considered better than the original, even though they're exactly the SAME!!!!!!

^^^ If there are no changes, you can report the project.
I do support blocking the sharing of unchanged remixes.

I do support blocking the sharing of unchanged remixes.
I don't think that would really help. They can always change something extremely subtle (sprite name, variable name, comments, dragging in random blocks without a hat block, etc…)

I just add a message in the notes and credits section and leave a link to the community guidelines.

In my opinion, I guess it's okay for people to copy one's projects, but if they give no credit, you should report them.

So pretty much they could remix something, change something small, and share it without the remix being blocked…

The scratcher [Removed - please don't “name and shame”] has been making remixes that haven't been changed, so I think that they should be reported. I know the scratcher myself.

At least it's an effort and may lower (but not completely remove) the number of no-change remixes. I don't think that would really help. They can always change something extremely subtle (sprite name, variable name, comments, dragging in random blocks without a hat block, etc…)
…so support for either
1) Hiding the remix/share button until a change is triggered.
2) Combine with this suggestion and if the user attempts to share without a change, a pop-up will remind them to do so.

Support. I have a ton of projects that have been remixed with actually no change!
