I saved my project, it's in the “my stuff” list, I click “see inside,” and it says “5 of 5 assets loaded” and the bar is full. but it just stays there and doesn't seem to load. I spent a good deal of work on it and I would like to access it again.

Try reopening it. If that doesn't work open it another way (like from a local drive instead of going to your project page and clicking ‘see inside’)
