I think that shipping two Scratchers who are okay being shipped is perfectly fine However, if the Scratchers don't want to be shipped, but people ship them anyways, then it should be banned.

With consent? How is that harmful in any way?

The person asking to be shipped may be acting in an inappropriate way, and they might even be a dangerous adult. I don't endorse Internet relationships, even when assuming that all people involved do not intend harm, because someone's Internet identity doesn't reveal everything about them in terms of personality. Lastly, Scratch is a programming site, not a dating site, after all. The only legitimate shipping case would be if the Scratchers were dating in real life.

Just because the Scratchers are agreeing to the shipping or relationship doesn't mean that it's harmless. Many teenagers are naïve and anxious to begin dating, and blind themselves to the dangers of online dating. I don't see why anyone should be shipped on an educational programming site where younger kids are present.

In general shipping isn't allowed. It's a great promotion to things that are in general inaproppriate. So in general it should be banned altogether. Though from personal anime shipping… I luv it.
