another way this could work

(btw this was a suggestion that I made, it just got closed because it was a duplicate, though our systems are very different):

Dropdowns for Custom blocks, you can add these when creating custom blocks, and you can put them into dropdowns such as variables and point towards blocks.

how this would work: after putting them into, say, a variable block, you can only put them into variable blocks after that, or, if it were a go to block, you can only put them into go to blocks after that (you could have a drop down in a variable, and then a different drop down in a go to though), when using the custom block said dropdowns would show which options there were in the original drop down

SNAP now has these features(i think), but you might have commented when there wasn't.
