What did I do to deserve this?!

This is an outrage. I spent hours on my project, The Lonely Follow Button to enlighten the community about the importance of clicking the follow button, just to have it completely stolen from me. Not only that, but you'll noticed that {link removed by Scratch Team} has many more love it/favorites than mine. That's because THAT project just so happened to land in the “top loved” section of the front page.

Scratch team, this just isn't fair. I don't want to be a part of a community that allows this kind of behavior. I don't want MY ideas, MY time, MY creativity going to waste because of a simple click of a button. This is just.. I don't even know what else to say. I'm so enraged that this was allowed to happen with no reprimands, no consequences.. just. I don't know, ST. I just don't know any more.

EDIT: Perhaps that project can be removed, and as compensation, my project can be featured to get the recognition it deserved. I WASN'T EVEN CREDITED IN THE NOTES, SCRATCH TEAM………..

In the future, going to the forums and ranting about your issue won't solve anything. Instead, you'll want to contact the Scratch Team directly.

Probably, in my opinion, the least effective way too. The ST probably doesn't look at these forums as we do; they're more focused on contact us emails and reported things instead of scamming around. Anyways, you can use the Contact Us on every page bottom or simply report the project itself explaining why.

Not only is it the least effective way, it's also the one that often results in the most drama, since all that's being done is draw attention to the offending content, which in turn creates more work for the ST.

Reporting anything that potentially breaks the Community Guidelines on the forums isn't the way to go here. It's better to report stuff using the flag/report functions.

Sadly, my forum signature was eaten by an evil kumquat.
