Awkward interface for scrolling drop-down menus + arrow keys in Paint Editor

So, I feel like the interface for scrolling the drop-down menu down is awkward.

Like for Example:
When Key (X^) Pressed - when you click on the field for which key to use, and you get to the bottom of the list, and want to keep scrolling, you have to press and hold the arrow button at the bottom of the list, and then let go as soon as it hits the right letter/key/whatever then it closes automatically. Seems a little awkward to me as I have to time it just right, plus at first I couldn't figure out how to get the list to scroll in the first place.

Also, can it be added that you can you use the arrow keys to move the cursor in the paint editor? Like while I have the costume centering tool out, when I press the left arrow key, it moves the center piece one pixel to the left, and so on. This would also be useful for the Fill and Paintbrush tools, for centering costumes more precisely, and doing pixel by pixel painting, as opposed to only being able to use the mouse.

Thanks for reading!
Dusty.

I agree! I want Vector editor to work a lot more like the old Bitmap one.

Thanks for the ride, Scratch Team and community! Unfortunately, the time has come for me to move on from Scratch, so I'll no longer be using the forums. Thanks again, and farewell!
