Cloud variables and non-cloud variables automatically set to 0
I am working on a cloud-based project, but the only problem is that whenever I try to set a cloud variable to a certain value, 2 seconds later it automatically sets to 0. I've tried setting the variable while the project itself is running, but nothing seems to be working. How do I fix this glitch?
The same problem is occurring with non-cloud based variables. Am I doing something wrong?

Do you have any other tabs with this project open? Are you using your Scratch account actively on at least two computers? (Or processes for that matter - I can't use Scratch API cloud data interaction programs I've made with my main account and see it live update from both the program and the web page - that's why I made a test account.) These have caused issues with cloud data for me.
