Scratch is not working at my school :(

Is there a generalized outage or just my school? Suddenly none of my students can access the “see inside” of their games. Also none of their games or any other scratch project will run.
All say no number in front of the number of sprites or scripts in the project.
Also, when I try to start a new project, it takes me to the project page of a new project, but won't launch the editor.

So I'm using plan B with my 6th grade class now. Is there anything else I can do to fix it? Is it something about my school district or is this happening to everyone, everywhere?

Thanks!

The same problem is occurring at our school. Time to re-evaluate my decision not to use the installed software in an effort to teach about participating in an online community.

Once the offline editor is out of beta I will request it be installed as a back up. Right now I'm using Kodu as a backup. You could also use scratch 1.4. Of course by the time my school district approves v2.0 we will be in v4.0

FYI this appears to be a problem isolated to IE:

Doesn't help me at school since IE is my only option.

Sorry about those issues they sound tough. From what I know, when I use an iPad, the scripts and sprites values don't show, and also it takes me to a new project page when clicking “New Project”. Pretty much, all those symptoms occur when one doesn't have Flash, but clearly you do, so this is an issue. Have you considered using the offline version of Scratch 2.0? It can be downloaded here. Also, there might be a problem with your Flash for some reason. Try out another Flash application and see if it runs properly although this is a mass number of computers… But yes, Internet Explorer for me has had issues where I can't view any project on any page. It sounds like the exact same thing; do you see a large exclamation mark in a circle when trying to view a project? Anyways, usually shutting down and restarting my computer fixes this, so let me know if it works tomorrow.

Also, see if the Scratch testplayer works.

I've moved my attention to: http://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/18525
Pretty sure they're having the same issue as me. Haven't tried a restart. Don't have flexibility to install most software. Will not let me install Chrome or a beta release of anything.
When I tried the test player. I still couldn't play the game and now I get one of those generic “IE can't access this website” messages in the right-hand frame where the instructions should be.

Doesn't work for me either on IE at home or school. Is this going to be fixed? Just started the unit and stuck; we can't install Chrome or anything!

Hey guys, for those who aren't aware this is a new bug that's been affecting a lot of users. The Scratch Team is working on the issue but as of right now it still seems still be a problem. We've got a thread going about it over in the Bugs and Glitches forum here (already linked by MrLewisVO); please post over there if you have any useful information. Even just your system configuration and browser/Flash version would be valuable.
