Hi welcome to scratch
You'll become a scratcher after
commented enough under projects
or wrote enough posts in the forums
or shared enough projects
or convinced a scratch team member you should be a scratcher (not by asking!)

It normally takes about two weeks

This isn't right I think. Two weeks are just the minimum of time.
