Adding an about me and what I'm working on (WIWO)
Many people have this. Some are stylish, some are plain. Here's how to get one:
Firstly, go to your profile. Click on the button to the right of my stuff and click on profile.
Next, click on about me and type some stuff in about you.
After that, click on what I'm working on and do the same.
You're done!
Creating a studio
First, click on a folder with an s in. This is my stuff. https://scratch.mit.edu/mystuff
Next, click on new studio
After that, type in a) a name for the studio b) type in a description c) add projects d) invite curators and e) make a logo for it. Don't know how to do this? Scroll down to changing your logo.
You're done!
Note: You MUST have a verified email address when doing this.
Making a project
There are two ways to do this…
Method 1: Click on Create at the top of the homepage
Method 2: First, click on my stuff.
Next, click on new project
Sharing a project
In the editor/project page of the project you want to share, click on share.
Note: You MUST have a verified email address when doing this.
Following people/studios/discussion
You don't need a verified account to do this.
Firstly, go to the studio, user or discussion you want to follow.
You'll find a blue button called follow. Click on it, then it will change to unfollow. I don't think it's possible to use the follow button as a utility for doing a morse code. xD
How to change your logo
Go to your profile. If you want to type up the link to your username, go ahead! It should look something like this: https://scratch.mit.edu/users/example
Hover over the picture by your username. On your logo, it should say change. All new scratchers are given a logo made by @Yickpoo.
Click on your logo/change. You will now need to upload your file. If you want an animated logo, upload a GIF image.
Click on open (windows).
Being a scratcher
Being a scratcher's easy! Just share APPROPRIATE projects* and be active in two weeks. Check your messages for You are invited to become a Scratcher! Click here to learn more! Click on the link or go to https://scratch.mit.edu/users/example/#promote I'm not trying to promote example from scratcher to scratcher. I'm just using them as an example.
*Your email address MUST be verified to be able to do this.
Changing your location (excluding location not given)
Click on the button to the right of my stuff and click on account settings or go to https://scratch.mit.edu/accounts/settings .
Click on the box underneath Location and select your country.
Click on save my changes.
Making a thumbnail for your project
When you're finished with making your project, you can make a thumbnail. Most of my projects have one.
To do this, open the project you want to give a thumbnail.
Then make a sprite. You may want to add your username and logo at the bottom. You could request a thumbnail, or make one in scratch.
In the scripts tab, go to looks.
Click ongo to frontThen, go to motion. Drag out two blocks and put them together. They should look like this:set x to (0)Click on the stack and underneath, drag out
set y to (0)hideFor the top, click on control and then drag outwhen green flag clickedYour script should look like this:when green flag clickedSome people like to do the same for the x and y, but instead make a script like this:
set x to (0)
set y to (0)
hidewhen green flag clickedWhen the project stops, the thumbnail should show.
set x to (0)
set y to (0)
set [ghost v] effect to (100)
Note: your thumbnail must cover the entire screen.

Wouldn't it be best to add this to the main post of the other topic you made, which is an ITopic already? You can have two sections; use underscores or something and big headings to divide it up. It's just a lot easier when there are fewer topics, especially seeing as this one is only continued from your other topic.

OK, but what I mean is, combining the two topics would make things less complicated. It's unlikely this will be stickied/made into an ITopic, because it would just be so much easier if this was part of the first topic.
