It would be nice. And if you posted a mean comment, you would have the chance to delete it.

While I support this idea in general, I don't think it should be implemented just so you can delete a mean comment if you posted it. If you post a mean comment, you should face the consequences for it.

I've never done it, but it would give other users a 2nd chance.

and cause confusion? it's bad enough you can edit them…

I'm talking about comments on projects.

I agree, sometimes I comment but after posting it I realise that it might be interpreted in the wrong way and it's a real pain to fix.

I agree. Then you have to contact ST and tell them to delete it.

I don't agree, you could say a mean word or flame someone and delete it before anyone sees it but the person you wanted to flame. No.
